Bathroom Remodel

This home improvement project involved a complete overhaul of an old bathroom, transforming it into a modern and functional space. The steps taken in this renovation included the following:

1. Demolition of the Old Bathroom

The first step was to take down the existing bathroom. This involved removing old fixtures, including the toilet, shower, and any cabinetry. The walls were also stripped down to the studs to prepare for new construction.

2. Rebuilding Walls

After the demolition, the next phase was to rebuild the walls. This included framing new walls to create a more efficient layout and to accommodate the new fixtures and cabinetry.

3. Re-framing the Closet for Cabinets

To optimize storage, we re-framed the closet area. This involved adjusting the framing to fit custom cabinets that would be installed later, ensuring a seamless integration into the overall design.

4. Installing New Toilet and Shower

With the walls rebuilt, we proceeded to install a new toilet and shower. The shower was designed to be both functional and stylish, enhancing the overall aesthetic of the bathroom.

5. Installing Italian Porcelain Tiles

One of the standout features of the renovation was the installation of Italian porcelain tiles. These tiles were laid on the floor and walls, providing a luxurious and durable surface that complements the modern design.

6. Building a Custom Shower Wall Box

To add functionality and style, we built a custom shower wall box. This feature provides storage for shower essentials while maintaining a sleek look within the shower area.

7. Installing a Glass Enclosure

The shower was then fitted with a glass enclosure, which not only enhances the open feel of the space but also adds a touch of elegance. The glass enclosure allows for easy access while keeping the water contained within the shower area.

8. Building Out Vanity Space with 4x4 Oriented Tiles

Finally, we focused on the vanity area. We built out the space to accommodate a new vanity and used 4x4 oriented tiles to create a unique and modern look. This design choice added texture and visual interest to the vanity area.
